Transformation of a shop-in-shop concept into a fully-fledged store
Tempur Villa Arena is the flagship and first fully-fledged store to be rolled out based on Tempur’s new shop-in-shop concept. Store3D joined forces with architect William van Esveld to carry out this project. Taking the best of both worlds in terms of ideas, insights and expertise has created a comfortable, well-organised store with a calm, peaceful atmosphere!
Optimal customer journey
The added value Store3D provided was setting up an optimal and attractive customer journey. This was mainly achieved by dividing the store into different zones. The materials to be used and the furniture designs were chosen in consultation with William. Similarly to the shop-in-shop concept, the starting point was to project a sense of timeless tranquillity and warmth with the all-important objective of creating a completely unique identity using an existing, but revamped shop formula.
Different zones, different furniture
The addition of different zones (welcome, experience/try out and models) meant that a number of new furniture items had to be designed for each one. The Sleep Experience Center has a more hotel-like atmosphere, the lounge is warm and cosy, and the welcome zone serves as a central hub and sets the tone for customers when they step into the store. A customised wall system for pillows, cushions and accessories, and Tempur’s own pillow bar serve to demonstrate all the facets of Tempur’s sleep and relaxation-related products to customers. Store3D not only catered to the needs of the customers, but also took good care of and unburdened Tempur. This project had to be completed within the Villa Arena framework of guidelines and building procedures. The results are simply excellent!
A lot to experience
The customers are taken on a journey with a lot to experience on the way!
